Cedar Valley Montessori Schools (CVMS) follows the Cedar Rapids School District for school closings. If extreme weather conditions occur and the Cedar Rapids Schools are closed, classes and childcare at CVMS will be canceled.

If Cedar Rapids Schools delay classes for two hours, CVMS childcare will open at 8:30 a.m. for regular childcare users only and all regular CVMS classes will start at 9:30 a.m.

If Cedar Rapids Schools dismiss early due to bad weather, we will also dismiss and children will need to be picked up from all programs including childcare.
