As an independent school, CVMS does not receive public support. Tuition does pay for the day-to-day operating costs. However, tuition alone cannot cover everything that makes an education at CVMS unique.

Annual Campaign

The month of October hosts our Annual Campaign. This is the only fundraiser CVMS will hold this school year. Our 2012 Annual Campaign Goal is $15,000.

We feel that a simple approach to fundraising best suits the needs of our families. The Annual Campaign is the only time we ask our families for a direct donation during the school year.

The benefits of an Annual Campaign:

CVMS receives 100% of your donation.
You are not asked to sell anything.
No need to attend multiple fundraising events.
Fits in to everyone’s busy schedules.
Funds are available for use this school year.
Money is used across school programs.
Supports focused planning for use of funds.
Strengthens the bonds of our school community.
Gifts are tax deductible

Every family benefits from a successful Annual Campaign. Gifts of all sizes are valued and important. The
amount of your contribution will remain private. Our goal is to have 100% participation from our enrolled families.

Would you like to see your gift do twice as much for CVMS? Many local employers have Matching Gift
programs. Obtaining a matching gift can double your contribution. Taking a few minutes to complete the following steps is one of the most important ways you can support the Campaign.

Contact your company’s Human Resources Department or Plan Administrator.
They will provide you with a match form and give you instructions on completing
the process.
Send the completed form to CVMS (some companies have online submissions.)

Ongoing Giving Programs

You can help Cedar Valley Montessori School (CVMS) by participating in the following programs:

Box Tops for Education

This program allows you to earn cash for CVMS one of two ways:

Clip — the box top from participating products. Several times a year, you will be reminded send the box tops you have been collecting for CVMS in your child’s Friday Folder. Family and friends can collect for your child too!

Shop Online — through the Box Tops Marketplace. Start every online shopping visit here. You shop and pay as you normally would. There is no additional cost to you. The only difference is that CVMS gets up to 15% of your purchase back when you start your visit through the Box Tops Marketplace at btfe.com/marketplace. Over 150 major retailers participate including: Target, Kohls, Sears, Barnes & Noble, Toys R Us, Gap, Children’s Place, Disney, Best Buy, and more. Please check for yourfavorite retailers and watch your donations grow.

Target Card

The Target ‘Take Charge of Education Program’ is an easy and free way for you to donate money to CVMS. All you have to do is sign up for a Target REDcard at any Target store or online. Then designate CVMS as your school through the Target website (School ID #21730). When you shop with your REDcard at Target, or Target.com, Target makes a cash donation to CVMS. The donation is free to you, plus, the Target REDcard gives you an automatic 5% back on your purchase at check out.
