The members of the Board of Directors at Cedar Valley Montessori School (CVMS) are elected by the general assembly of existing families who currently have children enrolled at the school. The Board of Directors governs CVMS while the School Administrator executes the day-to-day operations of the school and oversees the staff. The Board is comprised of parents and alumni.
Board meetings are generally held on the first Monday of the month at the school and are open to staff and current parents. Board minutes are available in the office or may be e-mailed to parents upon request. A copy of the Cedar Valley Montessori By-Laws is e-mailed to all parents once a year and may be requested at any time. Board elections are held in the fall. There are many ways to assist Board committees so please find one that interests you and sign up.
