Calendar:  CVMS follows the Cedar Rapids School District calendar for holidays and spring break.

Toddler Program:  2 year olds – Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Preschool Program:  3 to 6 year olds.  Three year olds may enroll immediately following their third birthday if space is available. – Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Extended day classes:  4 to 6 year olds – Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Childcare:  Wrap around daycare is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Teachers :  All lead teachers are Montessori certified and have college degrees.

Our facility, newly remodeled in 2010, includes;

• five spacious, natural light-filled classrooms
• childcare facilities
• a nap room
• two multi-purpose enrichment classrooms
• an indoor gymnasium
• a large, multi-use atrium with Peace Garden
• a Children’s Library for student use
• a securely fenced outdoor play area
• a state of the art security system

Admission:   Admission begins with re-enrollment of current students, followed by their siblings, school alumni and then those on a waiting list.  CVMS welcomes people of all races, colors, creeds, origins and family compositions.
